The site is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the US Food and Drug Administration. It reorganises the FDA’s own public files. A company appearing here means it holds an FDA drug establishment registration or labels a listed product; it is not an approval or endorsement of the company or of anything it makes.

Where the data comes from

• FDA Drug Establishments Current Registration Site (DECRS): every registered establishment, worldwide.
• openFDA National Drug Code Directory: marketed products and the labeller of each.
• FDA Orange Book: approved products, patents and exclusivities, which drive the patent cliff pages.
• FDA drug shortage database: current shortage listings.

How the site is funded

Companies can claim their profile for free. Revenue comes from clearly labelled sponsorship and paid profile tiers, described on the advertise page. Payment never changes, removes or reorders anything drawn from the federal record.

Corrections

If an entry is wrong, it is either wrong in the FDA file or wrong in our join, and we want to know which. Tell us the company, the figure and what you believe it should be, and we will check it against the source. Company representatives can also claim their profile to add descriptive details.
